Le’Veon Bell – Pittsburgh Steelers #26

Pittsburgh Steelers #26

Since 2019, Le’Veon Bell has been playing for the New York Jets but there is no doubt that his best career highlights to date came while playing as a cowbell running back for the Steelers from his rookie year in 2013 up to 2018.

He was drafted in 2013 as the 48th overall pick, after playing his college football for Michigan State Spartans

During his six-year spell with the Steelers, Bell amassed 35 rushing touchdowns, 7 receiving touchdowns, and a total yardage gain of 7,796 yards during regular-season games!

2018 will be remembered for what Bell didn’t do. He spent the whole season holding out for a better contract from Pittsburgh and when this wasn’t forthcoming, the writing was on the wall for his stay in the Steel City with the New York Jets securing his services for the 2019 season.

Whilst he didn’t live up to the high standards he had set in Pittsburgh during his first season in the Big Apple, he still ran for just under 800 yards with 70 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

We shouldn’t rule out Le’Veon coming out with a bang in his second season at the MetLife Stadium.
